The government of Antigua and Barbuda has revoked the appointment of Ambassador Boris Latour following an investigation in Switzerland.

Prime Minister Gaston Browne and Foreign Affairs Minister E.P. Chet Greene confirmed the decision, taken weeks ago after reports about Latour were received.

Latour denies allegations of wrongdoing claiming his father fabricated the accusations to damage his reputation.

Appointed in 2023, Latour served as Antigua and Barbuda’s Permanent Representative to the UN in Geneva, Ambassador to France, and Permanent Representative to UNESCO in Paris and Vienna.
