As Barbuda prepares for its Council Elections scheduled to take place on Wednesday 26th March 2025, special provisions will be made for electors in the constituency, who have not replaced their expired Voters’ ID Card.

Effective Saturday 1st March 2025 until Election Day, the operating hours at the Registration Unit in Barbuda will be extended.

The Unit will be opened from Mondays to Fridays 8:30 am – 6:00 pm and on Saturdays and Sundays from 9:00 am – 1:00 pm.

Supervisor of Elections, Mr Ian S Hughes urges electors to use this time adequately to collect Voters’ ID Cards, replace **EXPIRED** cards, replace lost but **VALID ID** cards (cost $100.00) and any other services that are required at the Unit.

Persons are being reminded that for **FIRST TIME** or **NEW** registrants, only those persons who registered up until January 31st 2025, will be eligible to vote in the upcoming council elections.
