    Heart & Stroke Foundation of Antigua & Barbuda to Host Public Lecture on Heart Health

    The Heart & Stroke Foundation of Antigua & Barbuda invites the public to its inaugural Public Lecture, Matters of the Heart Made Ridiculously Simple, aimed at raising awareness about crucial heart health issues. The event will feature expert medical professionals who will address various factors that affect heart health, offering valuable insights into prevention and management.

    Scheduled for Thursday, February 27, 2025, the lecture will take place at the Sir Lester Bird Medical Centre (SLBMC) Auditorium from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM. This educational session is free of charge and open to all members of the public.

    The topics covered during the lecture include:

    • All You Need to Know About Stroke
    • The Effects of Marijuana on the Heart
    • The Effects of Anxiety and Depression on the Heart

    Renowned medical professionals Dr. Ian Thomas, Dr. Gaden Osborne, and Dr. Jefferson Garraway will lead the discussion, providing expert knowledge on how individuals can take proactive steps to protect their heart health.
