The body of nine-year-old Chantel Crump has been discovered in the Weatherhills/Langford area, according to reports.

Chantel was last seen a few days ago getting into a vehicle near her home in Grays Farm after returning from school.

Authorities had detained a man and a woman in connection with her disappearance, and investigations are ongoing to determine the circumstances of her death.

Forensic experts are currently on the scene conducting examinations as officials continue their inquiries.
