Adrian Nurse, 50, of Liberta, has been sentenced to two months in prison after pleading guilty to assaulting Chelsea Matthias with a cutlass and using threatening language.
The incident occurred on March 19, when Nurse confronted Matthias and held the weapon inches from her face while issuing threats.
He received two months and seven days for the assault, one month for carrying the cutlass, and 14 days for threatening behavior.
