A man in his fifties, Dale Emmanuel, has been sentenced to three years and one month in prison for serious indecency involving a 21-year-old woman with cognitive impairment.

A jury found Emmanuel guilty of forcing the victim, whose mental capacity is below that of a 12-year-old, to engage in sexual acts. However, he was acquitted of a separate rape charge related to the same incident.
