Residents in the Friars Hill and Dunbars areas are frustrated by coconut waste littering their streets, particularly near Old Popeshead Street. Homeowners report difficulty walking and driving due to discarded husks, calling the situation both unsightly and hazardous.

Similar complaints have emerged in Cedar Valley, highlighting a wider issue. “It’s becoming harder to move around with all this waste,” one resident said. “It looks bad and poses health risks.”

Locals are urging authorities to step in, while discussions grow over better waste management for coconut farmers. Residents hope for swift action to restore cleanliness to their communities.
