    APUA Temporary Electricity Service Reminder

APUA reminds customers that temporary electricity services are installed for short-term use, not exceeding 90 days.

These services are primarily intended for construction projects.

Temporary installations are not designed or approved by the Authority to support permanent electrical loads.

We also wish to highlight the safety risks associated with the improper use of temporary services.

Overloading circuits can lead to electrical hazards, including fires, equipment damage, and serious injury.

Customers requiring an extension beyond the 90-day period must submit an extension application at any APUA Customer Service location or contact us at 480-7150 for further information.

Please note that approval may require a safety inspection.

Temporary services that exceed the standard period without an approved extension will be subject to disconnection.
