    Browne Grateful for Washington Times Recognition Despite Questions Over Source

    Prime Minister Gaston Browne says he remains grateful for recent recognition as one of the Caribbean’s most influential leaders, despite questions surrounding the origin of the publication.

    Speaking on his Browne and Browne radio show, Mr Browne acknowledged that the feature—carried by the Washington Times —may not have been an editorial by the newspaper itself, but said that did not diminish the value of the acknowledgment.

    “Whether it came directly from them or through syndication, I’m thankful,” he said. “The real focus should be on results.”

    The Prime Minister credited his administration’s consistent performance over the past decade for attracting such international attention. He cited improvements in infrastructure, economic growth, and social development as evidence of effective leadership.

    Browne added that global recognition is not new, referencing previous international assessments of Antigua and Barbuda’s economic and governance record.
