A well-known tattoo artist and influencer has been jailed for firearms offences after pleading guilty in court.

Oszie Kelvin Russell, 40, known online as “Mongoose,” was sentenced to three and a half years in prison for possession of an illegal firearm. He also received one-year sentences for possession of ammunition and a suppressor. The terms will run concurrently.

Police raided Russell’s home in Lightfoot on 22 April and caught him throwing a Glock 80 pistol out of a window. Officers also recovered 10 rounds of ammunition and a silencer.
