The Police Administration wishes to remind the general public that investigations into the tragic death of 9-year-old Chantel Crump are still actively ongoing.

A postmortem examination was conducted by the Pathology Department on April 4, 2025; however, the findings have indicated that the cause of death remains inconclusive. As part of the continuing investigation, samples were collected and are currently being prepared for advanced forensic analysis and toxicology testing.

The public is respectfully urged to remain patient and allow the investigation to take its due course in the interest of justice. It is essential to highlight that this matter is now sub judice, and as such, individuals are strongly advised to refrain from making public statements or speculative commentary that could potentially interfere with the legal process. The Police Administration remains resolute in its commitment to ensuring that all investigative procedures are carried out thoroughly and professionally.

Meanwhile, the public is asked to fully cooperate with the police and to be mindful of the sensitive nature of the case, while showing compassion and respect to the grieving family of young Chantel Crump during this most difficult time.
