Two teenage girls have reported separate but similar attempted abductions outside All Saints Secondary School, prompting serious concern from parents and community members.

The girls, aged 14 and 15, were reportedly approached by a grey Toyota Vitz on Thursday. According to their parents, three men in the vehicle tried to coerce the girls into the car. Both teens managed to escape unharmed but shaken.

The mother of one of the girls, described how the suspects drove off when another student arrived.

The father of the other girl, said his daughter was approached by a man who reversed the vehicle and encouraged her to get in. She raised an alarm, drawing the attention of bystanders.

He later matched the vehicle’s licence plate to another similar report and filed a police report but expressed frustration at the lack of response from authorities.

Another incident involving a different student was reportedly dismissed by police due to the student’s age, with officers stating that a parent must be present for any official complaint.

The parents are urging vigilance and linked the incident to wider fears following the tragic abduction and murder of 9-year-old Chantelle Crump. Authorities have not confirmed whether the incidents are connected.

Police have yet to issue a public statement.
