ACB Caribbean is urging customers to stay alert amid a surge in fraudulent SMS messages claiming accounts have been suspended.

The bank says the texts, which direct recipients to bogus links such as _acbonline.digital_ , are part of a “smishing” scam — a phishing tactic conducted via SMS.

In a statement, ACB Caribbean advised: “DO NOT click the link or enter any personal or banking information.” It stressed that the bank does not send login links or request sensitive details through unsolicited messages.

Customers are encouraged to verify messages through official channels, including the ACB Smart App or by calling customer service.

Those who have clicked the link or shared information are urged to contact the bank immediately.

ACB Caribbean says it is monitoring the situation closely and remains committed to safeguarding customer accounts.
