I’m Nia Benjamin—23, a passionate Food & Beverage Hostess at Blue Waters Resort & Spa in Antigua. I’ve spent the past 5 years growing in hospitality, starting as a student intern and now proudly leading evening dining service, supporting my team, and delivering exceptional guest experiences.
Outside of work, I’m a national volleyball player. I’ve recently completed a wedding planning & coordination course with WPIC, guided by Tracey Manailescu —I’m now awaiting certification and excited to bring dream weddings to life.
In 2024, I was honored to be named a Rising Star, placing in the top 3 nationally and I’ve also earned several Employee of the Month awards. Though being young in this field can be tough, I’ve been lucky to have strong mentors and I truly believe age doesn’t define ability—mindset and passion do.
I’m just getting started but ready to keep shining for my guests, my team, and the future of tourism in Antigua ??
