The event brought together key representatives from the health, environment, tourism, and agriculture sectors, reinforcing the urgent need for cross-sector collaboration in building a water-secure Caribbean.

    Antigua and Barbuda’s delegation included:

Permanent Secretary Colin O’Keiffe, Ministry of Health, Wellness, Environment, and Civil Service Affairs

Gregory Bailey, Director of Agriculture, Ministry of Agriculture, Lands, Fisheries and the Blue Economy

Dr. Adelle Blair, Sustainable Tourism Officer, Ministry of Tourism, Civil Aviation, Transportation and Investment

Throughout the workshop, participants explored innovative solutions for managing water resources, mitigating climate impacts, and promoting sustainable livelihoods.

The team from Antigua and Barbuda actively contributed to sessions focused on policy harmonization, community engagement, and practical tools for improving watershed and protected area management.

As Caribbean nations continue to face growing threats from climate change, the Grenada workshop underscored the shared commitment to sustainable development and regional solidarity in the journey toward water security.
