The Brewmasters J’Ouvert troupe has issued a public apology to revellers following a delayed start to their festivities on J’Ouvert morning, citing unforeseen technical difficulties.

In a statement shared with their supporters, Brewmasters explained that the music truck experienced generator issues, which disrupted the planned early-morning celebrations.

The band acknowledged the frustration felt by their “posse” and expressed deep regret for the inconvenience caused.

“We know it was frustrating, and we’re truly sorry,” the statement read. “We’re taking steps to ensure this doesn’t happen again. You deserve better — and we’ll do better.”

Despite the disruption, the troupe thanked their members for showing up and supporting the band regardless of the setback. Brewmasters praised the energy and loyalty of their followers, describing it as a driving force behind the team’s resilience.

“Your love for the band kept us going,” the statement continued. “Thank you for still turning up and repping with us despite the setback. We promise to do better next year.”

The apology comes as the troupe reflects on the importance of consistent planning and technical preparedness in delivering an enjoyable Carnival experience.
