Police are investigating an assault on an 80-year-old woman in Browne’s Avenue, Antigua.
The victim was struck on the head by an unknown attacker shortly after midnight on Monday after answering a noise at her front door. She was taken to Sir Lester Bird Medical Centre, where her injuries were treated and deemed non-life-threatening.
Two local men have been detained on suspicion of wounding as inquiries continue.
