Four people appeared before Acting Chief Magistrate Dexter Wason in Barbuda last week, pleading guilty to various offences.

Majid Thomas, charged with being armed with an offensive weapon and wounding, and Althea Nedd, charged with battery, were both reprimanded and discharged.

Ivan Corral and Gregory Thomas each faced charges of driving without a licence and driving uninsured. Both were reprimanded and discharged for the licence offences. Corral was fined $2,500 for driving uninsured, with payment due immediately or 30 days in prison; Thomas was fined the same amount, with 20 days in prison as the alternative.
