Police are investigating a suspected arson that destroyed a storage shed at a Lightfoot West home early on Friday.

The fire broke out around 03:30 on 5 September after suspects used fuel to ignite the building, destroying furniture, tools and electrical equipment worth several hundred dollars. Investigators also found other building materials set alight in the property’s yard.

Forensic teams have examined the scene, and officers have spoken to several people, but no useful information has been obtained.

Police are urging anyone with information about suspicious activity in the area at the time to come forward.
