The Ministry of Works has stepped up its infrastructure push with drainage improvement works now under way in Cedar Grove. Crews carried out night operations this week to install and reinforce the system, aimed at reducing flooding risks in the community.

At the same time, road upgrades are continuing in Liberta as part of the government’s wider programme to rehabilitate village roads. Officials say the projects form part of the “Better Roads” campaign, designed to deliver safer, more durable infrastructure across Antigua and Barbuda.

The Ministry has not yet given a completion date for the works but has urged residents to remain patient while upgrades are in progress.
