Prepare for a unique fusion of power and paradise as the island gets ready to host its inaugural Truck Fest this Sunday, 21st September. The first-of-its-kind event, set to bring together haulage heroes and the community, will rumble into the Jack Idle, promising a day of spectacular machinery, fierce competition, and family fun.

This exciting new festival is a celebration of the formidable trucks and skilled drivers who are the backbone of the island’s economy. Organisers have lined up a series of competitive events designed to showcase these mechanical beasts at their best.

Trophies and bragging rights will be awarded for the ‘Cleanest Truck’, the ‘Best Lit Truck’ for the most dazzling light rigs, and a test of pure skill in the ‘Shifting Competition’.

The contest sure to make the most noise is the battle for the ‘Loudest Jake Brake’, where the iconic roar of the engine brake will echo across the grounds.

While the trucks are the main attraction, the day is designed for everyone. A dedicated family area will keep younger visitors entertained with rides and colourful bounce castles, ensuring a fantastic day out for all.

No Antiguan gathering is complete without fantastic food and music. A variety of local vendors will be on site selling delicious food and refreshing drinks, from cool juices to hearty meals.

The soundtrack to the day’s festivities will be provided by a stellar line-up of local musical artists and top DJs, bringing the vibrant spirit of the island to life.

So, whether you’re passionate about powerful machinery or simply looking for a brilliant and free family day out, the first annual Truck Fest promises to be a thrilling new event on Antigua’s social calendar. Don’t miss the chance to witness island thunder in person.
