I’m truly concerned about the youth in our society today. I recently learnt of an incident, involving two young men, where one threatened to put a contract on another’s life.

All of which happened due to money that was stolen by the person issuing the threat, because he was caught. Did I mention all of this happened on a church grounds?

Have we truly lost as a nation? Can we no longer save our kids? What can we do to help? There’s more questions than answers. With what seems like no solution in sight.

Can we honestly prepare a future for the next generation, who seems to not want it? I’m truly disheartened and afraid. We’ve set aside a day of prayer for our nation, but are we truly getting to the root of the matter. I want to be hopeful but the reality appears grim.

How do we help our kids? How can we create a future for them? One where there are over achievers. Shining as the bright stars they are. Can it be a reality or am I just a dreamer?
