Richard Lewis, a resident of Willikies, has been cleared of murder after the Director of Public Prosecutions entered a nolle prosequi, dismissing all charges against him.

Lewis had faced accusations of fatally stabbing 39-year-old Jace Merrick during an altercation on 29 December 2021. Following the DPP’s decision, Lewis was released from custody.
