The Kiwanis Club of Antigua AR Fusion made a timely presentation of signage to the School for the Deaf on the 13th September 2025. This institution caters to children with speech impairments.

The motto of the institution is “We focus on our abilities and not our disabilities”. The signage allows for ease of recognition of the institution that shares space with the TN Kirnon Primary Schools. Due to the placement of the new signs, persons will be able to easily identify school’s location.

Distinguished President of AR Fusion, Ms. Rebekah Warner, hopes that with the increased presence through the improved signs, more awareness will be brought to the institution, and the good work that is being done in preparing their students to communicate with the world around them. Persons who are interested in taking sign language classes are also encouraged to take classes at this institution.

President of the Parent Teachers Association, Mrs. Francis, expressed her gratitude on behalf of the school, its Principal and Teachers, for the kind donation to the school. She also expressed hope for continued partnership with the club, in helping the institution to continue in it work. AR Fusion also thanks to its corporate partner in this project Iprint. They provided much needed assistance in the design, production and installation of the signs that were placed near the road, and beside the building.

Present at the presentation was outgoing Lieutenant Governor Adrian Boyce (2024-2025) of Barbados, who was pleased to witness such a note worthy contribution. He noted that this contribution is in alignment with the expectations of Kiwanis International, and its motto to “Serving the children of the world”
