    Antigua and Barbuda youth urged to apply for Queen Elizabeth II Commonwealth Trust, 100 Young Leaders Awards

    The Queen Elizabeth II Commonwealth Trust (QECT) is pleased to announce the launch of the QECT 100 Young Leaders Awards, a prestigious initiative established to honour the legacy of Her Late Majesty Queen Elizabeth II as part of the commemoration of what would have been her 100th birthday in April 2026.

    This programme will recognise 100 exceptional young leaders from across the 56 Commonwealth countries who are creating meaningful change in their communities in the fields of:

    • Education and Employability
    • Health
    • Environment
    • Food and Agriculture
    • Inclusion

    Awards & Benefits for Winners

    Awardees will be recognised at the official awards ceremony and will also have the chance to apply for microgrants to expand their initiatives. In addition, they will receive tailored mentorship and capacity-building support, gain global visibility through international media coverage, and access valuable networking opportunities with funders, partners, and experts across the Commonwealth. This is a unique opportunity to gain international recognition and join a dynamic network of changemakers across the Commonwealth.

    Eligibility Criteria

    Applicants must be between 18 and 35 years old (born between April 1990 and April 2008), serve as a founder, co-founder, or leader of a social impact initiative, and be a citizen or permanent resident of a Commonwealth country. They must also demonstrate at least 12 months of measurable community or global impact, operate ethically and transparently in line with QECT values, and submit their application in English.

    Eligible Antiguans and Barbudans are invited to apply.
