Antigua and Barbuda’s main hospital has launched a fundraising campaign to buy a new mammogram machine aimed at improving early breast cancer detection and treatment.

The initiative, part of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, seeks to expand screening capacity and reduce waiting times.

Supporters can contribute by purchasing awareness pins and wristbands from the hospital’s cashier or Woods Pharmacy.

Officials say every donation will go directly toward the new equipment, describing the effort as vital to strengthening local healthcare and promoting awareness across the country.
