Authorities have launched a search for a fishing vessel reported missing on Tuesday afternoon after departing from Mosquito Cove, Jolly Harbour.

The vessel, identified as _Endurance 2_ and registered as V2-1597 JH, is described as an 18-foot white fibre-reinforced plastic pirogue powered by a single Yamaha 40-horsepower two-stroke outboard engine.

Chief Fisheries Officer Ian Horsford confirmed that the Antigua and Barbuda Defence Force (ABDF) Coast Guard is leading the search efforts and has appealed to all fishers and mariners for assistance.
