Mandatory Food Vendor Meetings Announced Ahead of 44th Independence Celebrations

The Antigua and Barbuda Festivals Commission (ABFC) is inviting all registered and approved vendors participating in the 44th Independence celebrations to attend a mandatory vendor meeting.

The purpose of this meeting is to assign vendor numbers and provide important operational guidelines to ensure a smooth, safe, and well-organized event. Attendance is mandatory, as all vendors must receive and adhere to the established requirements and regulations for participation.

National Youth Rally Food Vendors

Date: Monday, 27th October 2025

Time: 5:00 p.m.

Venue: Sir Vivian Richards Stadium

National Food Fair Vendors

Date: Tuesday, 28th October 2025

Time: 5:00 p.m.

Venue: People’s Place, ABLP Headquarters

Beverages served at all Independence related events must be in foam cups, as mandated by the relevant authorities. Additionally, vendors operating grills are required to have a certified fire extinguisher on site. Failure to comply with these safety requirements will result in the immediate revocation of the vendor’s license.
