Prime Minister Gaston Browne reaffirmed his government’s commitment to transparency and accountability, stressing that no member of his household participates in government contracting.

He cited recent irregularities in government vehicle procurement, which were immediately investigated and corrected, with restitution paid to the Treasury. Enhanced oversight across customs and procurement is being implemented to prevent under-invoicing and other abuses.

“Corruption must never become a norm,” the Prime Minister said. “Good governance is not a slogan. It is the standard by which a nation protects its integrity.”
