Chef Maureen St. Jean, Executive Sous Chef at COCOS Hotel Antigua, will represent Antigua and Barbuda at the Festival de la Gastronomie in Saint Martin on November 22, bringing her signature flair and passion for both local and international cuisine to the regional culinary stage.

With more than two decades of experience, Chef Maureen’s career began at the Antigua and Barbuda Hospitality Training Institute before she refined her skills at several of the island’s leading resorts, including St. James’s Club and Curtain Bluff. Now at COCOS Hotel, she continues to elevate Antiguan flavours while serving as a dedicated mentor to aspiring chefs.

Her commitment and talent were recognized early in her career, earning her the ABHTA Employee of the Year Award in 2006. Today, she remains a proud ambassador for Antiguan cuisine and a guiding force for young culinary professionals.

Antigua and Barbuda’s tourism and hospitality community is rallying behind Chef Maureen as she prepares to showcase the island’s rich flavours and culinary identity in Saint Martin.
