Antigua and Barbuda will send representatives from three major trade unions to the Caribbean Congress of Labour’s 22nd Triennial Delegates Conference, set for Dec. 2–5 in Port of Spain, Trinidad.

The Antigua and Barbuda Trades and Labour Union will be represented by President Bernard de Nully, First Vice President Lisa-Ann Yearwood and Executive Member Jaquis Browne. The meeting, themed “One Caribbean, One Voice: Advancing Workers’ Rights through Governance and Solidarity,” will address labour migration, capacity building and regional cooperation. Sessions will include presentations from the International Labour Organization.

De Nully said the delegation’s participation reflects a commitment to defending workers’ rights across the region and strengthening collective action.

The Antigua and Barbuda Public Service Association will attend through its General Secretary, Janela Evanson. The Antigua and Barbuda Workers Union will also send three delegates, whose names were not confirmed at press time.
