Senior Non-Commissioned Officers have completed a two-week refresher course aimed at strengthening leadership, discipline and operational readiness.

The course ran from 12 to 24 January 2026 and focused on reinforcing the responsibilities and professional standards expected of senior enlisted leaders.

Participants undertook drill training designed to improve discipline and unit cohesion, alongside a review of common tasks considered essential to day-to-day operations.

Training also placed strong emphasis on the role of the Senior Non-Commissioned Officer as a leader and mentor, and as a critical link between command staff and junior personnel.

Organisers said the programme helped to reinforce effective leadership practices and improve overall readiness within the unit, highlighting the continued importance of experienced non-commissioned officers in maintaining operational effectiveness.
