ST. JOHN’S, Antigua — Two Nut Grove residents have been remanded in custody until February 9 to enter pleas on firearm and ammunition charges.

Terry Williams and Shanyea Crump appeared before Ngaio Emanuel, jointly charged with unlawful possession of a firearm and ammunition. Bail is not available at the Magistrate’s Court, and their attorney, Wendel Alexander, is expected to seek bail in the High Court.

The charges follow a search by the Criminal Investigations Department Task Force at a residence in All Saints early Monday, where officers seized a Ruger 9mm pistol and seven rounds of ammunition.
