A new book highlighting Antigua’s history will be launched Wednesday morning in an event aimed at supporting youth development at the National Public Library.

Antigua: A Glimpse into the Past will be officially launched on Wednesday, Feb. 18, 2026, at 10 a.m. at the National Public Library of Antigua and Barbuda.

The author said the event goes beyond celebrating literature and serves as a fundraising effort for the Library’s After-School Enrichment Programme, which provides academic support and structured engagement for young people.

Organisers said the initiative is intended to raise both funds and awareness for the programme, which offers students a safe and supportive environment outside regular school hours.

The writer described the launch as part of a commitment to giving back to the community through education and cultural preservation.

Media outlets, including Antigua Newsroom and other local broadcasters, have been invited to attend and cover the event to help encourage national support.

The launch is open to the public.
