The Antigua and Barbuda High Commission in the United Kingdom held diplomatic meetings last week with representatives of two Commonwealth nations as preparations continue for the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting (CHOGM) scheduled to be hosted by Antigua and Barbuda later this year.

The mission reported “productive diplomatic engagements” with H.E. Mosuoe Letuma, High Commissioner of the Kingdom of Lesotho , and H.E. Pengiran Norazmi bin Haji Muhammed, High Commissioner of Brunei Darussalam.

According to the High Commission, discussions focused on the upcoming CHOGM 2026 , which Antigua and Barbuda will host in November.

Officials said the country is looking forward to welcoming Commonwealth leaders and delegates for the gathering, which is expected to bring heads of government and senior officials from across the Commonwealth to the twin-island state.

Antigua and Barbuda will become the first country in the Eastern Caribbean to host the meeting, one of the most significant events on the Commonwealth calendar.
