    ABHTA Wraps Up Conflict Management Course for Tourism Professionals

    The Antigua & Barbuda Hotels and Tourism Association (ABHTA) successfully concluded its 4-Week Conflict Management and Resolution Course, designed to equip hospitality and tourism professionals with practical skills to manage workplace conflict effectively.

    Led by Ms. Shirlene Nibbs, participants engaged in interactive online sessions with group assignments, discussions, and collaborative exercises.

    The course culminated in a final in-person session at the Trade Winds Hotel Conference Centre, where participants showcased creative presentations demonstrating strategies to resolve workplace conflict.

    The ABHTA presented certificates to all participants who successfully completed the programme, recognizing their commitment to leadership, teamwork, and professional growth.

    Participants reflected on the course as a transformative learning experience, highlighting improved communication, emotional intelligence, problem-solving skills, and practical strategies they can apply immediately in their workplaces.

    ABHTA continues to support the growth and development of Antigua and Barbuda’s tourism workforce through training programmes helping professionals deliver exceptional service and strengthen the industry.
