Prime Minister Gaston Browne is urging voters to complete the validation of their voter identification cards promptly, warning that delays could leave some electors unable to cast ballots in the upcoming general election.

Speaking on his weekly radio programme, Browne said individuals who wait until the last minute risk missing the deadline, which could result in disenfranchisement.

He encouraged eligible voters to act within the next two weeks to ensure they are properly registered and able to participate in the electoral process.

The warning comes as preparations intensify ahead of an expected election, with authorities continuing efforts to update and verify the voters’ list.
