Murder victims Omarie Lewis, 17, and Brianna Clarke, 18,

The deaths of two teenagers in Villa are not believed to be linked to gang activity, Prime Minister Gaston Browne has said, following the completion of a coroner’s inquest.

He indicated that while he has received a briefing on the findings, further details will come from police once their update is issued.

Investigators continue to examine the double killing, with two men — aged 19 and 24 — still being held as persons of interest.

The victims, Omarie Lewis, 17, and Brianna Clarke, 18, were discovered outside their Villa residence after reports of gunfire late one morning two weeks ago. Medical personnel later confirmed both had died shortly after being found.

Several units, including homicide investigators and forensic teams, were deployed to process the scene.

Police have renewed appeals for public assistance as inquiries continue, urging anyone with information to contact the Criminal Investigations Department or the anonymous Crimestoppers line.
