A 23-year-old man from Gray’s Farm has been remanded to prison after appearing in court on multiple firearm-related charges linked to a shooting incident on Queen Elizabeth Highway.

Nathaniel Santana of Hatton appeared before Chief Magistrate Ngaio Emanuel in the St John’s Magistrate’s Court on Thursday charged with shooting with intent to murder, discharging a firearm in a public place, and unlawful possession of a firearm and ammunition.

Police alleged that Santana shot at a 32-year-old man from Gray’s Farm during an incident on Sunday, April 26.

Investigators have not released further details about the circumstances surrounding the shooting.

Santana was remanded to His Majesty’s Prison until June 18, 2026, when the matter is expected to return to court.

    Police said investigations are ongoing.
