The Antigua Cruise Port has provided a new update on the ongoing waterfront upland development project in St. John’s Harbour, showcasing continued construction progress through newly released drone images.

In a social media post, the company said LICCOM’s construction team is moving ahead with the development of additional retail spaces featuring “bold Caribbean colours,” while roofing and exterior finishing works continue across the site.

The update also noted that work is preparing the way for an expanded parking area, which has already been fenced and readied for construction activity. According to the post, the additional parking is expected to improve accessibility and convenience for both residents and visitors.

Antigua Cruise Port said the wider redevelopment aims to create “bold new experiences, enhanced public areas and a re-imagined waterfront atmosphere” as transformation efforts continue along the St. John’s waterfront.

The project forms part of broader port and tourism infrastructure upgrades being undertaken by Global Ports Holding through Antigua Cruise Port.
