Antigua and Barbuda welcomed hundreds of visitors from across the Caribbean this month, including more than 360 travelers from Guadeloupe who arrived by ferry this week, according to the Antigua and Barbuda Tourism Authority.

The tourism body said the arrivals formed part of ongoing efforts to strengthen regional travel and increase connectivity between Caribbean destinations.

In a social media post on Friday, the authority also highlighted the visit of a group of more than 50 travelers from Trinidad and Tobago earlier in May.

Photos shared by the tourism authority showed visitors being greeted upon arrival, participating in activities and attending events during their stay.

Tourism officials said they remain committed to expanding transportation links and creating experiences aimed at encouraging repeat visits from regional travelers.

The latest arrivals come as Antigua and Barbuda continues efforts to grow intra-Caribbean tourism and promote the destination within neighboring markets.

The tourism authority thanked visitors for choosing Antigua and Barbuda and expressed optimism about continued growth in regional travel.
