Emergency responders rushed a police officer to hospital after a collision involving a police motorcycle and a vehicle on Factory Road near Tranquility Park Cemetery on Monday.

The officer, who was reportedly on duty, suffered serious injuries after being thrown from the motorcycle. He was taken to the Sir Lester Bird Medical Centre for treatment as police investigate the incident.
