This issue must be balanced with consistent follow-ups and social inquiries.

There are many cases where individuals comply with child support payments, yet the child receives little or no actual care and support. Our children need more than just financial assistance.

Unfortunately, some maintenance applications are driven by jealousy, resentment, or personal conflicts rather than a genuine concern for the child’s welfare.

The system is often aware of these realities but still proceeds to make maintenance orders. After the order is made, what happens next?

Payments are being made, yet many children continue to lack school supplies, proper medical care, adequate nutrition, supervision, and other basic necessities.

Child support should not be viewed as an end in itself. There must be ongoing monitoring and accountability to ensure that the child’s needs are actually being met and that the funds are being used in their best interest
