A woman is seeking answers after she was reportedly struck and injured by a vehicle on Josephs Lane on Sunday evening in what is being described as a hit-and-run incident.

According to information circulating on social media, a white Suzuki Jeep bearing registration number A35386 allegedly hit the woman around 6:15 p.m. The driver reportedly stopped briefly before leaving the scene.

The vehicle has reportedly been traced to a registered owner from Grays Farm, and a public appeal has been made for the individual to contact the Traffic Department at Police Headquarters regarding the matter.

The woman claims she reported the incident to the Grays Farm Police Station shortly afterward but said no officer responded to the scene. She also alleged that an officer she spoke with was dismissive of her concerns and declined to provide his identification number when requested.

Police have not yet publicly commented on the allegations. Anyone with information about the incident is being urged to contact the authorities.
