A woman was treated for a head injury after an altercation in Ottos New Town shortly after midnight on Monday.
Police said the incident occurred around 12:21 a.m. on June 8. Officers later visited the Sir Lester Bird Medical Centre, where the woman was receiving treatment for a bleeding wound to her head.
Investigators were told the injury was sustained during a confrontation with a young man. The matter has since been reported to police, and investigations are ongoing.
