The Minister of Health, Wellness, Environment, and Civil Service Affairs, Michael Joseph, today met with the executive members of the Antigua and Barbuda Nurses Association as part of the Ministry’s ongoing engagement with key healthcare stakeholders.

The meeting provided an opportunity for meaningful dialogue on matters of mutual interest and reaffirmed the shared commitment of both the Ministry and the Association to maintaining a collaborative working relationship in support of the nursing profession and the continued delivery of quality healthcare services.

Minister Joseph welcomed the opportunity to engage with the Association’s leadership and underscored the importance of maintaining open communication and strong partnerships across the healthcare sector.

“Our nurses are the backbone of the healthcare system, and I value the opportunity to engage directly with the Association’s leadership. By working together in a spirit of openness and mutual respect, we can continue to strengthen our healthcare services and create an environment where our nurses feel supported and empowered to deliver the highest standard of care,” Minister Joseph said.
