The ABLP St. John’s Rural South Youth Arm will host its inaugural Talent Takeover on Saturday, July 18, providing a platform for performers from across Antigua and Barbuda to showcase their abilities and compete for cash prizes.

The event will begin at 7 p.m. at Club Labour and is open to singers, dancers, spoken word artists, poets, comedians, instrumentalists and other performers.

Youth Development Officer Kaiesha James said the initiative was created to provide talented individuals with an opportunity to showcase their gifts, build confidence and inspire others to pursue their passions while bringing the community together.

Contestants will compete for a top prize of EC$1,000, while second and third place winners will receive EC$600 and EC$400, respectively.

Organizers said winners will be determined through live digital voting, meaning patrons attending the event will cast the deciding votes.

Admission is free. Registration details, featured performers and additional announcements are expected to be released in the coming weeks.
