Antigua and Barbuda – [Friday 21st March 2025] – The Wadadli Initiative for Self-care and Healing (WISH) was honored to participate in the Dear Chantel memorial programme hosted by Five Islands Primary School, where 100 copies of Be Kind to Your Mind, a mental health and self-care coloring and activity book, were donated to the school in memory of Chantel Crump. The event celebrated the life of Chantel, a beloved student whose loss has deeply impacted the school community, while promoting kindness, safety, and emotional well-being among students.

The donation was presented by WISH Founder Chaneil Imhoff and WISH Project Officer Blaire Cornwall during Imhoff’s delivery of an inspiring feature address. Her message emphasized the importance of self-care, community support, and the power of kindness in creating a safe and nurturing environment for all students.

“Chantel’s memory reminds us of the power of kindness and the importance of supporting one another,” said Imhoff. “Through this donation, we hope to provide students with a tool to express their emotions, navigate challenges, and remember that they are never alone. The Dear Chantel programme was a beautiful tribute to her life, and we are grateful to have been a part of this.”

The Be Kind to Your Mind coloring and activity book is designed to help children explore their emotions through creative expression, mindfulness exercises, and positive affirmations. Each page encourages self-reflection and provides practical strategies for managing stress, building confidence, and fostering resilience.

WISH remains dedicated to promoting mental health awareness and self-care practices across Antigua and Barbuda. Through partnerships with schools, community organizations, and local leaders, WISH continues to provide resources, workshops, and advocacy to empower individuals and foster holistic well-being.
