OPEN LETTER: To the Director of Social Security

Dear Director,

I am very much traumatized by the way your organization is treating us, the public, especially those of us who purchased lands at Paynters.

Unfortunately, your organization’s motto ” Growing to provide for you” certainly does not reflect the quality of service that you offer. Is your organization really growing and is it really providing the quality service that it should?

A few weeks ago it was so pleasing to the ears to hear that your organization is now operating in a surplus, whereby, a hotel was laid on your table to be built as a means to generate incoming revenue to your organization’s coffers.

You also indicated that payments to the pensioners are now up to date. Kudos! However, persons are still complaining about late payments for Funeral, maternity and sickness. These seems to be the main cry from the masses.

Added to the cry, persons are now complaining about monies spent for the lands at Paynters and to date, there has not been any development with the infrastructure. The lands are presently looking like a forest. Promises were made but those promises were not kept.

The delay in getting the area in order, is certainly creating a set back to those of us who purchased plots of lands. Some of us are tenants elsewhere and are desirous of constructing our own homes on our own lands in order to vacate the renting.

Please Mr. Director, the empty promises you are making, are a comfort to fools. For the past year or two, we have been fools accepting those promises the development will take place. We have had enough of those promises! We would like to enjoy the comfortable life, style, like you.

Alex
