Police are investigating an armed daylight robbery at Point Wharf involving Barbuda Council-appointed Senator Fabian Jones.
Jones had just arrived in Antigua by boat from Barbuda on Thursday morning when a masked man in dark clothing reportedly confronted him and demanded his bag containing an undisclosed sum of money. The suspect fled in a black Honda CR-V. No injuries were reported.
Jones told _Point Express_ he initially mistook the incident for a prank, as the vehicle resembled a friend’s.
